Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) provides year-round sports training and competitions for more than 13,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities and Unified Partners (their teammates without disabilities). Special Olympics is a movement that’s changing attitudes and changing lives by inspiring inclusion, understanding and respect for people of all abilities, in all aspects of life.
RUN for Special Olympics in the 5K, Half or Full Marathon and YOU will be Making a Difference! Bring your family, young and old, and participate as a team. Runners who raise $100 in donations will receive an official Special Olympics moisture wick runner’s shirt for race day! Join the Special Olympics Connecticut team TODAY!

EASY STEPS to RUN for Special Olympics CT:
#1 Register for the ING Hartford 5K, Half or Full Marathon at www.hartfordmarathon.com, click on general registration.
#2 Contact Nora noram@soct.org or 203.2676566 at Special Olympics Connecticut and let her know you are joining the Special Olympics team!
#3 Set up your own giving page at www.soct.org (Click on the ING homepage.) Email the link to family and friends.
#4 Join us on Race Day in the Special Olympics Connecticut tent in Charity Village and you'll have access to private port-a-johns, a safe place to leave your personal belongings, refreshments, and a meet and greet with our athletes.
