We couldn’t have done it without you. 113 brave souls took on the cold (and wind) this past Saturday at Crystal Beach in Ellington at the 6th annual Ellington Plunge and raise $35,000 ( and counting). Despite the blustery conditions, you came out and supported our Special Olympic Connecticut athletes. Your support does make a difference.

If you’d like to come out and see where your efforts go, please come to our 2013 Eastern Regional Games in Hartford on May 11. Visit the Games website at www.hartford.edu/soct. you or your group can register to volunteer right on line. 650 athletes will complete is athletics and aquatics competitions.
We were not able to do Awards after the plunge because of the windy weather. Here are the winners in the various Awards categories. We will contact each winner about presenting the Award to them.
